The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is actively involved in R&D activities with research interests of Faculties, Ph.D scholars, P.G and U.G students spanning over a wide area of engineering,science and technology. There are many research projects ongoing in the department funded by both government and corporate agencies. Four major research groups in the department branches out as: Power & Energy Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Control & Signal Processing and High Voltage & Insulation. These groups also promote interdisciplinary research that are in the domain of the faculty expertise. The research outcomes have led to patents and publications in leading international journals, conferences.
