  3. High Voltage Lab: The facilities established will be used for experimentation and demonstration to acquire knowledge in the high voltage area.
     High Voltage Test System (110kV Impulse generator, DSOs, Oil test kit, High precision Megger, Digital earth resistance tester, etc.)
     Cable fault-locating system. (route-tracers, surge generators etc.)
  4. Instrumentation and Automation Lab: The Industry Grade Equipment and softwares in this lab benefit the students to learn the state of the art technology in Instrumentation and Automation domains.

The term ‘Big Data’ covers the explosion of high frequency digital data in terms of quantity, diversity and heterogeneity. Big Data is not just about the volume of data but also includes velocity, veracity, variety and value. The main focus of the workshop would be to understand the various aspects of Big Data - Architecture and Models, Applications, Algorithms and Open Source Tools, Research challenges in mining, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing and security. Hands on sessions will be conducted for some of the tools.
